Professor Naylor motivated me to take the Hardware
part of the A+ Certification when I had him for
CT108 in May 04. I passed easily. Without him pushing
me, I would not have done it. I just passed the O/S
part last week. It feels so good to have accomplished
something that I have been putting off for 3 months. I
just wanted to thank Professor Naylor for making me
take the first step. I am going to be taking Network +
next. If anyone else is thinking about taking A+, GO
FOR IT! It was not a hard test. You can get a lot of
the answers by using common sense, and practice

My first semester at Briarcliffe College was a cocky
one. I came into the school thinking I knew
everything. I didn’t though. Professor Naylor proved
it to me. I’m glad he did, because for everything I
didn’t know, I learned through him, and it did not end
there. He gave me so much knowledge not only about
the technical field but about real world environments
and how it really is out there, preparing me for my
future. I can’t begin to explain how Professor Naylor
changed me since Aug ’02, when I started my college
years. His systems for success are flawless. I know
this because I use them. I now currently work for
Cablevision making $18 dollars an hour and I am now
a proud owner of a 30K dollar Subaru which I’m very
proud of. Professor Naylor is part of my success and
I’m honored to have had him as a mentor and a
professor. I’ll never forget the help you gave me

look forward to being in your classes for my next
degree, because there is no school that will see me
unless you teach there.

Being an older student (30 at the time I’m writing
this), I had many hats to juggle, I did not have the
time to waste, I needed a solid plan. Using the Time
Management aspect of Professor Naylor’s Systems
for Success, I overcame many obstacles. Having a
plan helped me to keep ahead of the curve. When my
daughter was born time became a precious
commodity and having a time management plan
already in place not only allowed me to transition
easily, but it allowed me to physically see what kind
of time I had on my hands. I was able to utilize my

DTA (Date, Time & Activity,) three letters that
haunted me at first. Originally I wanted nothing to do
with it and just tried to fight it, but once I realized
how effective and efficient it could be properly used,
I stuck with it. Using this system for success
increased my productivity and all around helped me
stay very organized with my reading and daily
activities. It seems so redundant to record all this
information down at first, but as you do this, it helps
retain information and you can prove you have done
something and proof you have done it. For example,
I was at my job, filling out paper work and I inscribed
it all with DTA and my signature. So when a “query”
came about that I might of not have done my own
work I was able to show documentation of when and
where I did it and how long it took me. My signature
was additional proof that I have accomplished all my
work for the day. This not only saved my job but I
was even given a raise for being inspirational and
well prepared for this on such short notice.
This is why this system for success is worth its weight
in gold.
